Betty is based on a VW Crafter medium wheel base van with full height roof, and good strong engine. We bought her from a builder and have lovingly converted her with a fixed comfortable bed at the rear, gas stove, running water, LED lights, phone charger points, fan, opening skylight plenty of storage in garage, portable toilet which sits nicely in the buddy box, and...

We bought her from a builder and have lovingly converted her with a fixed comfortable bed at the rear, gas stove, running water, LED lights, phone charger points, fan, opening skylight plenty of storage in garage, portable toilet which sits nicely in the buddy box, and a night heater which makes it nice and cosy. Betty Blue's passenger seat swivels around creating even more space. There is also space inside to put 2 camping seats we supply if you don't want to sit outside. There is a curtain to blackout the light coming in from the front windows, and magnetic curtains to take off and on...

We had a super time in Graeme and Mandy’s Betty Blue. It has everything you need for a fun week travelling around Scotland. The van is very comfortable, full of character and has been well loved. Graeme was super to communicate with, and would highly recommend.

A few minutes walk from the old town.
Betty Blue is very well equipped for the adventure (the Porta Potti is a plus).
I was able to fully stand upright in it.
It was our first campervan experience and we had a lovely road trip through the highlands thanks to Betty Blue.

WENT ON TRIP 20TH -30TH JUNE
DEPOSIT BACK 8TH JULY
THEN TOOK FULL BALANCE AGAIN ON 12TH JULY
SO YES I HAVE PAID TWICE AND MADE NUMEROUS EMAILS AND WASTED PHONE CALLS TO BE TOLD ITS MANGOPAYS PROBLEM AND I WILL NOT BE GETTING A REFUND SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY £3120 FOR 10 DAYS HIRE DONT BOTHER BURN YOUR MONEY INSTEAD

Greame was so lovely and informative throughout the whole process. Me and my boyfriend hired Betty Blue for our first ever adventure up the west coast of Scotland and it was all so dreamy (partly due to lucking out with the weather big time). It's the sort of van that you don't want to give back at the end because you feel like you've created a connection with it from all the memories you've made and how cosy and home like it is. We would definitely hire the van again if we were to come back to Scotland.

We had the best trip in Betty the van! Was perfect for a few days of traveling around wherever we wanted. The van had everything you could need and made for the perfect getaway! Very fun! The only thing we’d have to change would be the magnetic curtains on the back windows- they worked well but it was often quite difficult getting them to stay up! Apart from that we can’t complain and would definitely use one of these vans again!
