James is a pleasure to deal with and made the whole rental process very easy. Mr Shady is a lovely camper van, drives great and is well appointed. Perfect for our week long NC500 trip!

James, has made our experience very fruitful and enjoyable. The van is excellent in condition - we have no issues throughout the time the Van was given to us. If you are in Scotland, and need a very good run Van-Home that's reliable and well cleaned and run well. I suggest you consider James Van, you won't regret it. It was perfect for us, a family of three for our weekend away in Scotland. Besides, James is reachable and easy to communicate with it.
Went up north with my girlfriend and dog and the camper van was brilliant, plenty of space and James was very helpful. Would 100% do it again

A cracking van that has everything thing you need for a camping trip. The night heater is a saviour if it's cold outside and gets the van nice and cosy very quickly.
James spent the time to explain things and all in all everything was hassle free.

A great van that drew some jealous glances at various campsites. Very clean and well kitted out with everything you'd need. James took time to explain how everything worked at pick-up and his communication throughout the process was excellent. Only problem now is that my 9-yo son is demanding we get one of our own just like it.

I had a fantastic trip away, the campervan really made the whole munro bagging trip much more comfortable which helped extend my trip. The campervan is well kitted out, in great condition with everything you need to have a great trip. James is very helpful and knowledgeable about the van. I’ll be booking again, and looking forward to another Scottish highland adventure.

Brilliant all round experience. We hired the campervan for a week and could’ve stayed on the road for another week or two no problem. James communication was second to none and was extremely accommodating. We loved the campervan, with it’s top notch specifications and condition, we even welcomed lots of interested people wanting to see around it. We would definitely rent this van from James again. Highly recommended.

The camper is fine and new, but the interaction with the owner is not worth the van. He was more than an hour late at the picking up meeting point and surcharged us 100 GBP for a late return (!), although we had agreed through several writen messages on the returning time. Unfortunately, these were not the only difficulties we had with him...

unfortunatly its impossible to please some people i could have gave them the van for free and they would still complain and the state they left van in was tottaly unaceptable wouldnt let them near it again.

We hired the van for 3 days and we were 3 people (all adults). The van is equiped and is very comfortable for 3 people.
The van was brand new like, very cleaned, fully equiped and very easy to ride with.
James helped us with whatever we needed and also, when wen dropped off the van, he took us to the train station.
Personally, i would recommend this van 100%.

James Campervan really is special, I had to treat it like my own and be so careful with it. Shady really gets heads turning and many people in the campsite had to come up to look at it.
It really is some machine and loved every minute in it.
Meeting James was easy and he was laided back and explained everything.
All went well and not expensive for what your getting. Definitely hire again and wish I could afford one myself one day.

James' camper was perfect for our needs! It came equipped with a two-bike rack that was easy to use, and the pop-top made it nice and roomy for night time. It is well insulated and kept us warm down to temps around 5-10c at night, without needing to use the heater at all. Fridge and propane stove made it quick and easy to do breakfast on the road.

Our experience with James and hiring his camper was superb. He was quick with response his campervan was amazing very clean reliable and everything we imagined.
