Big Blue has been ours since July 2020.
We have converted the van ourselves and have poured many hours of getting her looking somewhat like a home on wheels.

The van has a generous double size bed, which is fixed and has a permanent mattress as to reduce faff with taking the bed up and down (we previously had a microcamper with a rock and roll bed and much prefer a fixed). The bedroom area is cladded with spotlights and has a generous skylight with black out blinds and/or an insect net, for that blackout, midge-free atmosphere! We have also installed a sliding side window so you get nice ventilation throughout the van. The bed has plenty of stooge underneath - we would call it a 'garage' but it's more of a throw your stuff under the bed. You can sit upright on the bed to read / chill with enough head clearance (unless you're extraordinarily tall).

Basic table and camping chairs included.

Cooking equipment: we use a lightweight burner and mini butane gas for our cooking needs - we don't have a cooked kitchen as we prefer to cook outside when weather permits. Rhona is 5ft 5 and can stand up, I'm 6ft and even with my dodgy posture, I have to hunch further when standing!

The van has an auxiliary battery, we have wired in the spotlights in the ceiling and there are 2 x USB ports at the bed and 2 x cigarette sockets in the back also (one for the coolbox). We have a hook up adaptor extension lead to charge anything that requires some 'umph'- the auxillary battery is more for the lights and occasional USB charging. We have installed

The van itself has 170k+ on the clock, she drives like a dream and mechanically hasn't let us down since we've had her. It has aircon, arm rest and an aux lead, oh and three seats - all one needs for a comfy drive.

The conversion is not yet complete but IS very much usable - we have been to Cornwall and Scotland this year to name a few places. Our price will reflect the stage in which the van is at with the conversion; we feel everyone should have access to UK holidays with Covid and feel we have priced the van fairly to enable this.

Pet friendly: we understand that pets are part of the family, but please be mindful and clean paws and any mud off your dog before getting into the van.

Other: 6 speed manual, reversing camera for all of your parking worries.

Fuel: Big Blue averages about 35mpg. It is important to calculate the cost of fuel into your holiday. To give you an idea, we recently went to Scotland and to fill the tank from empty cost us £107; around 600 miles range driving sensibly. We will fill the van for you so you're ready to hit the road - we ask that you return it full, otherwise the balance will be taken from your deposit.

UK trips only please and treat the vehicle as if it were your own.
