Herbie – Comfortable 4/5/6 berth Chausson Flash motorhome with all of the comforts

Hello, please let me introduce you to our Herbie……

Firstly Herbie is easy to drive, with a reduced rear overhang for easier movability and parking.
He also has fitted reversing sensors and a reversing camera which also overlooks the 4 x piece bike rack for a bit of extra security.

When picking Herbie, up don't worry about your car you can leave your vehicle with us for the duration of your hire, however there is no liability accepted by us whilst your car is left at our premises.

Full comprehensive insurance is included, so no extra costs!!

In the cab he has a 6-speed gearbox with cruise control, air conditioning, audio input, Bluetooth for your phone/media, fitted with half leather full swivel front seats allowing you to walk through to the accommodation part, which can also be screened off with the in-cab privacy curtain.

In the kitchen area Herbie is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a hob with 2 x gas rings, a gas grill and a further electric hob, electric kettle, cutlery, full crockery set, utensils, sink with drainer tray, tea towels, oven gloves and an assortment of pots and pans. Everything you need for 6 people to get going including a very important bottle opener for when you arrive!!

There is a gas bottle on board which will run the cooker, hot water, and fridge that's if you’re not plugged into a mains supply, there is also a fully chargeable leisure battery for when you are going a bit wild!

At the rear are the two spacious full size adult bunk beds measuring 214cm x 92cm with bed side lights, windows and a privacy curtain

The lower bunk also converts into a very large garage area which can be accessed via two outside doors, one of these doors is easily large enough to pass through large items such as gazebos, bikes, tables, chairs etc. although even with the bunk fasterned down there is still a good-sized storage space underneath the bunk, which is where you’ll find the electric hook up cables and levelling chocks.

Above the cab is a very comfortable large king-sized double bed measuring 214cm x 192cm with bed side lights, windows and a privacy curtain

Finally, you can with ease make up the dinette table and seating area into a comfy double bed measuring 170cm x 122cm

If you would prefer, we can provide for you the sheets, pillows, duvets and towels (in advance) cost at £15.00 per person, however please feel free to bring your own! (Tea Towels and oven glove is provided as a standard)

Above the entrance door between the wardrobe and fitted cupboards is a Freeview TV with DVD player, which also has an HDMI and USB input if you would like to plug in any of your own devices.

Throughout the living area there is upper and lower level led lighting (Some dimmable) including an outside light above the entrance, all of which can be controlled via the main control panel and various switches.

The surround air heating system can be set automatically to your comfort and sparingly runs off the diesel tank so no setting up, just turn the dial and let it warm up.

The dining area has an extendable table between two rows of seats which extends to 6 x seats. In a journey 4 x can be comfortably seated around the table, wearing seatbelts, making use of the table, USB ports and lights

Herbies bathroom comes with an electric flushing cassette toilet, sink, hot shower and towel rail.

Onboard Herbie has a 105L freshwater tank – 100L wastewater tank – 2 x 240v sockets – 4 x cigarette lighter sockets and a total of 5 USB ports along with a media input into the cab media system

Herbie is just shy of 6.3 long which makes him one of the easiest 6 berths to drive with his rear reversing camera and reversing sensors. He can be driven on a standard UK license although we ask that the driver be a minimum of 25 years old with 2 years full driving experience being a maximum of 79 years old and a maximum of 6 points which consists of 2 x lots of 3 points

On collection Herbie is fully prepped/checked and cleaned throughout with a full tank of diesel, empty toilet casette, empty wastewater tank and a full freshwater tank.

All we ask is for him to be returned in the same condition and importantly on time, so we can prepare him for his next adventure.
If you have any issues or damage, don’t worry, please just let us know in advance or when they occur. That way we can prepare for anything in advance of his return. (Although Herbie is still quite new he also has the comfort of national breakdown cover too)

Herbie is great for the summer and winter, whether you’re off for a couple weeks or just a quick weekend with friends and family, he is ready to go with everything to hand making him great for any adventure!
