We are pleased to offer our VW T6 campervan for hire for your next holiday. 'Daisy' has seen the spotless beaches of the west coast of Scotland, the Cornish and Pembrokeshire coasts, and the rugged peaks of the Lake District amongst others so is used to long journeys.

Make the most of your holidays with our lovely, high-spec, and easy-to-use T6 equipped with everything you need to take an easy break anywhere you choose. The minimum hire duration is two nights with flexible pick up/drop off arrangements.

'Daisy' is a 4 berth van with 5 belted seats. She has a pop-top tent roof which sleeps 2, and a 'downstairs' bed, swiveling double front seats, 2 burner hob (gas included, certified), running cold water with a sink, fridge with small freezer compartment, twin gas hob and TV. The pop-up roof has a retractable bed board giving you standing room with the van when the tent roof is up. Tent roof unzips to expose windows for airflow or views over your camping spot.

'Daisy' has Apply car play, and parking sensors as well as a reversing camera. It has a similar sized footprint to a large car so driving and parking in and around towns is very straightforward.

'Daisy' is thoughtfully kitted out with plenty of space for relaxing, sleeping, eating, and chilling out!!

Dogs are allowed on request. We have a two-cycle rack that fits on the tow bar for those who would like to take their cycles.

Note: Please be advised that the fridge and three-pin plugs require an electric hook-up at the site to work, the leisure battery is a backup energy source that will sustain the lights, TV, and USB for minimal use for a couple of days.

'Daisy' is based in Cleethorpes which is the perfect spot for easy access to the motorway network for traveling North or West or as a base for a longer journey. We can secure off-street parking for your own vehicle during your adventures with 'Daisy'.

VW campervan top tips for your holiday

Top tips for making the most out of your holiday in Daisy.

The 240v sockets in the van only work when plugged into an electric hookup. We do occasionally get asked by people wanting to know how to switch them on for use when driving along.

Take eye shades to wear when sleeping. It gets light very early in the summer in the UK (I'm talking 4.30 am early) and unless you really want to wake up at that time then eyeshades will help you sleep a bit longer. Can't do much about the dawn chorus mind you, unless you wear earplugs. We quite like listening to the birds though!!

Make the bed before you head out to the pub for the evening. The last thing you want is to come home in the dark having had a couple and have to mess around with the sheets. Also, we keep the curtains closed during the day for privacy unless we are inside the van and need the light.

The van does have gas heating if needed.

Don't take too much stuff and use squashable bags, not suitcases. The van is not like a tardis inside. It is quite compact really. There is room behind the front seats when traveling.

If you are off on a long trip like Scotland or Cornwall it probably makes sense to take the van the day before you head off so that you can do some packing and get an early start the next day. A comfortable speed in these campervans is 60mph - 70mph. The van has a couple of USB sockets on the dash and also in the van itself and a couple of 12v "cigarette lighter" type sockets so it might be handy if you have multiple devices to charge to bring an appropriate socket. You can also plug chargers into the 240v sockets when connected to an electrical hookup.

'Daisy'radio has Bluetooth and Apple play so you can hook your phone up to sat nav for hand-free talking. She is also supplied with a gas canister, cooking pans and utensils and sets of 4 plates and cutlery etc. You need to bring your own bedding and ideally a mattress topper.

Try to park on the level but if this is not possible have the back of the van pointing uphill which makes for a more comfortable night's sleep.
