Skye – 2011 VW T2 rare POWER STEERING and modern day reliability

Skye was only manufactured in 2011 in Brazil, she has had a full conversion by Danbury Campers who are one of the most respected VW conversion companies, operating since 1964.

Skye has a full width bed conversion which sleeps 2 adults.
Pop top roof fitted for additional sleeping (1 adult or 2 children)
A hammock which will fit a child up to around 8/9 years of age, which fits over the front seat area and fitted with 5 full seat belts.

In 2022 we had a rear parking sensor fitted and power steering, so now handles more like a modern day vehicle and also a EMPI shifter, which makes gear changing very easy compared to a normal VW T2!

There is also the free option of a further row of 2 seats if required (lap belts only).

The price includes:
Fully comprehensive insurance, (minimum age 25) insurance criteria to be met in order to hire.
Full comprehensive breakdown recovery cover.
100 miles a day average mileage allowance included, excess miles charged at 40p per mile.
Full demonstration of the van and features on collection.

2 camping chairs, portable BBQ, crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery supplied for 4 people.
Childrens hammock included (up to age 8) fits over the front cab seats or can be used for additional storage.

There is a £500 insurance excess payment required before hire, which will be fully refunded upon return of an undamaged van.

Option to add a second driver charged at £9 per day.
UK only travel, no European travel permitted.
One small well behaved dog allowed at a cost of £25 per hire.

Additional items available for hire such as the cotton waterproof awning with end sleeping area (£50 per hire), bedding, extra camping chairs, table, wind breaks and portable toilet.
