Here is my professionally converted sprinter style off grid van lovingly made using high quality materials. She is definitely up for all adventures with 2x 160watt solar panels, 2 leisure batteries, electric hook up, LPG gas and large water tank.
She is wooden clad inside in the skandi style. A 4ft wide fixed bed going length ways for the taller people amongst us. She has all the features needed for a very comfortable holiday and a perfect night's sleep. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge with freezer compartment, LPG gas oven and 3 burner rings and plenty of storage space. There are all the pots, pans, crockery and cooking equipment needed for eating in or picnicing out. The LPG gas tank is underslung and has a 50 litre capacity, so there's plenty on board for those longer trips. There are also picnic chairs and table for those beautiful summer evenings sitting around a camp fire. There are 2 fixed seats with storage beneath and a fold down table. The seats then turn into the third bed in the evening if required.
The fixed bed has a memory foam mattress for a very comfortable nights sleep with a reading light in the corner and skylight above. There are LED ceiling lights which are on two switches and a sting of fairy lights giving you the ability to control the lighting for brightness or coziness as you need. Bedding and towels are available on request. Dog towels can be thrown in, but bring your own for the beach.
There is a diesel heater for the colder nights, and a plug in ceramic electric heater if on EHU. It is very efficient and with the quality of the insulation she is soon lovely and warm. I have taken her away in the snow and not needed to keep the heating on overnight. For those warmer summer adventures there is a Fiamma turbo extractor fan above the kitchen area with a thermostatic control to keep the van cool and comfortable and a fully opening window hatch above the bed.
She has got hot and cold running water, a 70 litre fresh water tank and 80 litre grey water.
There is a filter for the drinking water just to make sure you are absolutely safe to drink the water where ever you are. There is a hot outdoor use shower out of the back doors- great for coming off the beach or cleaning down the dog and bikes. The fresh and grey water tanks are easy to fill and empty via the connections on the nearside of the van.
She is very easy to drive, having power steering, air conditioning, 6 gears, reversing sensors, and bluetooth capacity. There are 3 belted seats in the front with plenty of leg room and storage whilst on the move.
