Monte – A unique camper experience

Monte is certainly a 'one off'. I am sure you will have a smile on your face all the time while he is in your care!

Our rental prices include insurance for 1 driver with options for additional drivers, breakdown cover and lpg gas for cooking / bbq.

We gave him his name from the TV ad for oranges 'The man from Del MONTE say yeah!' People will certainly see you coming with his bright orange and black raptor paintwork. You will be noticed and your presence will be asserted!

He looks like he could go anywhere with the chunky all terrain wheels, roof rack, large flood light at the front. In reality though much of it is only aesthetic! Monte is a FWD medium wheel base Sprinter. He isnt a 4x4 so you can't take him up mountains. That said, with those wheels you are unlikely to get stuck in snow or on wet and slightly muddy fields.

He is equipped to be 'off grid' for 2 adults plus 2 children (in bunks). Of of course you can go on a campsite.

He comes with:

Underslung lpg tank for cooking and outside gas BBQ point (BBQ not provided)
Diesel / 240v combination boiler for hot water and heating
Kitchen - 2 burner stove, large sink with hot/cold water, 85l fridge
Small bathroom with shower, toilet and tip up sink
90l onboard fresh water tank
40l waste water tank
Fixed double bed
Removable 'cabbunk' bunk bed system for children (60kg / 174cm max each child) - alternatively take a tent for them. You also have the option for sleeping in the garage area if you bring your own sleeping mats etc.
Flexible lighting - bright / mood / ambient
TV / DVD in bedroom
Removable dining table
Swivel front seats
Cab blinds / coverings
Tow bar (prior approval needed to tow anything)
Bicycle mounting points inside the garage (2x bikes with front wheel removed)
Dog screen - mesh and retractable
Electrical - 200Ah lithium leisure battery. This charges while you drive, from the solar panel or electric hook up, USBs, lighting, inverter (240v will work while off grid - 1500w max)
Roof rack with integrated flood light (roof rack cannot be used for load storage as no space!)
Insect nets to sliding and rear doors - these are midge proof if you end up in Scotland. I can't guarantee the little blighters wont get in through other routes though!

Monte comes complete with kettles, sauce pans, plates, cutlery etc.

You will need your own bedding and pillows

1 x pet allowed but please be mindful of our £1000 refundable security deposit and deductions for damages.
