Please read the description carefully before booking.

In the 1980s, the 'Westy' was the most sought after VW camper on the market - these buses still have a very strong following to this day.

At the time of building, Westfalia was the only officially recognised VW campervan conversion company meaning the interior is second to none - it’s high specification still rivals modern conversions. These campers offer a great balance between classic looks and modern practicality for those customers who are after the retro look and feel. Standard features are:

Features at a glance:
* Seats up to 6 with optional extra row of seats
* sleeps 4 adults plus one small child with use of optional bunk bed
* Poptop roof
* Two double beds
* Double hob and sink unit
* 3-way fridge
* 2kw diesel night heater
* Leisure battery / 240V hookup and mains sockets
* 1.9D 5-speed engine (fuel efficient and good for 65MPH)

Hark back to a bygone era of bold lines, styles and colours, before wind tunnels and when synth music was uber cool. In the 1980s, a VW T25 Westfalia was THE van to have.

It’s important to note that while all our T25’s are well preserved and are very well looked mechanically, these are historic vehicles – they’re not brand new, not refurbished from shell upwards (they’re just honest well-preserved examples) and nor do they drive like a modern car. T25s are generally reliable and lots of fun most of the time but for those customers who want refinement and need cast iron dependability (particularly if covering larger distances), we'd suggest opting for one of our brilliant VW T5s.

But if you’re happy to take the slow lane, enjoy the retro feel, up for more of a driving challenge and can bear the odd imperfection you have to expect from a 30+-year-old vehicle, the T25 remains a great option with oodles of personality (and you’ll be part of a special club where everyone waves and stops to speak to you)!

Detailed specification:
* 2 hob gas stove
* 3-way fridge (runs of gas, battery or mains hookup)
* Sink and running water
* Electric hookup with interior plug socket (charge your phone/watch the laptop!)
* Eberspacher D2 Airtronic night heater 2.2kw (keeps you warm on chilly nights, no need to run the engine)
* 2 full-size double beds (one rock and roll double bed downstairs, another full-width double in the expanding roof)
* Super comfy captains seats with armrests which turn round to face the back seats
* Poptop roof so you can stand up inside at night, but drive with ease in the day
* Masses of storage
* Movable table top
* All round curtains
* 3 window roof canvases (for additional ventilation and views)
* Valuables safes
* Upmarket remote control CD/MP3 sound system (with iPod input)

Other stuff you should be aware of:
- Vic is an old van with significant signs of use. That's why he is priced cheap. Expect signs of age consistent with a 30+ year old van with nearly 500k miles. It all works, but if it's important to you to have a spotless interior or exterior, a drive that's totally like new, etc, you should probably consider spending the little extra for a younger van!
- like all campervans, motorhomes and caravans, the 240v domestic sockets will only work when the van is "hooked up" to mains supply at the campsite.
- Naturally having booked this vehicle via a third party platform, you will have to pay their fees. This will result in a higher overall price than booking directly with us.
- Our own terms and conditions (available on the London Campers website) will take precedence over Goboony terms and conditions wherever a difference exists.
