Built in 1973, Maeve is a beautiful T2 VW Campervan in original condition. Sure, she’s got some signs of age but she is a huge amount of fun and always up for an adventure.
With her pop-top, double ‘rock and roll’ bed, gas hob, fridge, sink and excellent heater, she has everything you need for your trip. You’ll even find a ‘solar shower’ if you fancy living...

With her pop-top, double ‘rock and roll’ bed, gas hob, fridge, sink and excellent heater, she has everything you need for your trip. You’ll even find a ‘solar shower’ if you fancy living on the wild side! She’s equipped with 240v electrics so you can plug in at campsites etc.
Drive-away awning is available for an additional charge.
Maeve has the original 1.6l engine with 4-speed gearbox which will comfortably cruise at 50-60 mph giving you a range of 250 miles per tank.

INSURANCE: Insurance is included in the cost of hire but hirers must meet the following requirements:
-Aged between 23 -75
-Minimum 2 years licence experience
-Holds a full UK, EU, US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand divers licence
-No previous driving convictions
-MILEAGE: 100 Miles per day included in the hire
-ADDITIONAL MILES: Additional miles are charged at £0.45
- GAS: Return the gas FULL (you can refill it from petrol stations) and send receipt as proof
- FUEL: Return the van with the same amount as fuel as you collected it with
- DRIVING LIMITS: No off-road. No overseas travel (not covered by the insurance)
- PETS: Pets only allowed with consent
- No Smoking inside
