Description

Ideally located just off the M5 (J13) for easy access to the West Country and Wales.

Dora is a VW T6 Highline, brand new professional conversion with pop top roof, side awning, tailgate and a long wheel base for extra living space.

The lounge layout allows for a more sociable dining and relaxing/living area. It also provides plenty of storage space underneath the seats in addition to the kitchen cupboards.

* Your vehicle can be left here at your risk (there has never been a problem before!) but please can you leave a set of keys, in the event of the alarm going off.

* Dora needs to be returned clean - a minimum fee of £30 will be charged if this is not so.

* Dora will be provided with a full tank of diesel. Please return with a full tank of diesel.

* A charge of £25.00 will be made for additional drivers, to cover insurance administration.

* Bike rack or porta potty hire charge is £25.00 per booking.

* Mileage allowance is 600 per week. Additional miles are charged at 25p per mile.

* Over 25 years old only.

* Cleaning fee - If Dora isn't returned to be a reasonable standard you will be charged a cleaning fee up to £50.

  • Breakdown Cover: National

Available in the booking process, from $14.80 per day you can reduce your deposit and deductible to $150.

We booked the camper van to attend a festival, Prior to picking up the vehicle we had good communications with Carole and all the relevant details were exchanged in readiness for the pick up and found this a very professional service. We requested an earlier pick up this request was granted and was greatly appreciated, On pick we were given a thorough tutorial in the vans operations and a comprehensive checklist of inventory and pre checks with current visual defects that the van had, this again was very professional. The van drove well and was easy to set up and use, we had to leave the festival a day early due to family reasons and requested to drop the van off a day early , so we contacted Carole and she was very accommodating and agreed the early drop off same completed and return checks of vehicle carried out and no issues raised. Carole thanked us for the condition on return, We thanked her for her very professional service and flexibility with our requests for pick up and drop off. We enjoyed a lovely long weekend away staying in 'Dora'. It's just the right size for the 2 of us, plenty of storage and comfortable seating to chill out on when it's rainy or cold outside. The campervan was very clean, tidy and had the essentials. There is an awning which is a great sun shade and camping chairs to sit outside on which were really useful. I would hire 'Dora' again in the future but I would consider taking windbreaks next time to use as a privacy screen between pitches and for wind protection in the evenings. This is a personal preference as I'm not used to camping! Carole was very thorough when showing us the campervan, which as a newbie to campervan life, I found very helpful. Thank you to Carole for allowing us to holiday in her campervan! July 2022

Dora is amazing! Carole has done such a lovely job converting the van, it is so cosy and well equipped. I was actually really nervous about driving a van for the first time and Carole was great and took me out for a little spin to get used to it. It's so easy to drive and what a treat not having to pack up a tent at the end of the trip. Highly recommend! June 2022

We had a fantastic holiday in Dora! She's a great camper and in excellent condition. She's well stocked with everything you need, and very well configured with 2 super comfortable beds and a very sociable living/dining area. Carole was great too - lots of useful information on check-in and was on hand to answer any questions throughout our stay. The only thing we missed was an awning but our 2 man tent was sufficient for additional storage and games. Overall a great experience and we look forward to hiring again! :-) Many thanks Carole. Dora’s owner Carole couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent communication and quick response to questions etc and explained the workings of Dora fully and clearly. Dora was sparkling clean and ready to go when we arrived! A very nice touch was the welcome pack...coffee, tea and milk especially as we had forgotten the coffee!!! Chris April 2021
