Marlene – 6 berth luxury motor home Essex. Fully insured.

Marlene is our luxury coachbuilt motorhome.

She is fully equipped for both short breaks as well as long distance family holidays away.

She has a fixed double bed to the rear with a screening door so that the children can be put to bed and allow the adults the privacy of a game of Scrabble and a glass of vino!

There is also an electric drop down double as well as the ability to convert the seating area.

All windows have fly screens and black out blinds to keep the children asleep when the sun comes up...unless theyre too excited of course!

Moving to the centre of the van, the drivers and passengers seats turn (Captain) and there is no bulkhead meaning that all seats form into a circle around the table.

Beyond that is a centrally based double seat with two seatbelts. This means that the people sitting on these seats look forward and can see out of the windscreen. This was key for us and our family as our boys get travel sick if they cant see out of the windscreen and so many vans have offset seating or a bulkhead in the way.

Behind the seating is a glass topped island style cooking area with a double gas burner and sink. Above the hob is an extractor.

All around are LED lights.

Surrounding the kitchen area are cupboards and drawers for storage, all of the doors secure for travel.

There is a wall mounted adjustable TV here too.

There is a huge fridge and a freezer, another key thing for us. This can work on Gas and Electric.

There is a grill and oven within the kitchen.

The bathroom is located in the middle of the van, it has a sink, shower and flushing toilet.

Beyond this is the fixed bed, again with storage, hanging space and lighting.

She has a Webasto diesel heater to keep you warm, this runs from the vehicles fuel tank.

Within the cockpit the van is equipped with Power steering, Cruise control, air-conditioning, fixed cup holders, double reversing camera, CD Radio & arm rests.

Outside Marlene has a modern style look with a grey cab and graphics to match.

There are numerous opening skylights and a front sun roof with blinds.

The side door has an electrically operated step and a light above for when you come back from the clubhouse and need to see...

Next to the door is an outside BBQ/Grill so that you don't have to contaminate the inside with the smell of kippers (Bacon for me) in the morning!!!

To the side there is a huge storage locker. This currently houses the awning but has loads of additional space. The awning has sides and a floor mat but can also simply be a sun shade/wind out awning which makes closing it up nice and speedy.

To the rear is the double bike rack, the reverse sensors along with the dual reverse camera. This camera gives both a close and perspective view which is fed back to the screen mounted on the rear view mirror in the cabin.

We think that Marlene has a private jet style feel about the interior because of the leather style seating and modern feel.

Pets will definitely be considered.

We are based near Harwich in Essex. Essex has the second largest coastline in the UK, only narrowly beaten by Cornwall. With some of most delightful seaside towns around, you wouldn't even need to travel far for a great holiday.

Note - At 3.5t weight this can be driven on a standard car licence.
