Our 2-berth campervan is EPICALLY PRACTICAL and now available for bookings throughout 2023 and now 2024 (so plan ahead) although registered in 2012 and has a quirky character and is ready to help you have a great adventure with a unique real road trip feel but everything you need for that week or weekend away. Based on a Ford Transit, this campervan has a manual gearbox so it’s a pleasure to drive with relaxed cruising but more than enough power to cope with more demanding routes.
Perfect for couples, this campervan gives you the freedom of the open road and at less than 6 meters in length gives the ability to park in most parking spaces, and includes everything you need for a great adventure breakaway. We provide everything you need including pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, chopping board, cheese grater, and even cleaning products. I may even leave some coffee, tea, and sugar for a brew!
It has a fixed full double 54” wide bed for a great night’s sleep, with plenty of storage for all your essentials underneath in compartments.
There’s travel seating for 3 but only 2 berths in the 54” wide bed but 3 if a small child! It has a small kitchen area at the front complete with a removable table and removable shelf as a work area above the sink to make this an area for relaxing or socialising. During the day the rear double doors can pop open to admire the view unimpeded or from the kitchen end a wide window.
Complete with a sink with running water, 20L fresh water, and 20L grey water under the sink (Plus 2 extra 23L containers with extra fresh water so 66L in total) and 2 gas hob burners with all pots, pans, and utensils needed including a kettle for a cuppa. Please note there is no microwave in this vehicle. There’s also a fair-sized fridge that runs on a solar leisure battery so even off-grid the food, beer, and wine can be chilled.
There is also a 240v socket with USB connectors for small lower powered items. On the roof, you have an open window vent and a few fans.
A hot air gas-powered blow heater is built in for colder nights to take the initial chill off before going to bedor a cool blower if required (A fan is also provided). The solar panels & leisure battery enables you to go totally off-grid and park anywhere knowing you have gas, electricity, running water, and a waste tank.
The gas supply is permanently piped in so there are no gas bottles to replace and more than enough for your road trips – if you do run out just top up with gas at a service station (we will generally provide enough gas for your holiday but you can always top up if you need to!)
This vehicle is fitted with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire blanket, and fire extinguisher and comes complete with a valid legally required Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate. We also provide high-visibility jackets and warning triangles in case of breakdown.
We have a very basic Portaloo (foldable) and independent pump/hose shower fed from a bucket of pre-heated water to keep fresh and clean (shower curtain area to the rear of the van), all enabling you to be off the grid but can also be hooked up to an electric pitch on a campsite.
A foldable table and many chairs are supplied.
LED lights throughout the roof can be controlled independently to light the bed, kitchen, or both.
Installed is a rear camera and screen for ease of parking and reversing in the cab along with USB ports & holders for mobile phones for navigation.
A fitted TV, with a Fire Stick (hot spot your mobile phone data) and aerial.
This campervan is dog friendly for a smaller dog. A maximum of 1 well-behaved dog are welcome as long as they are kept off the bed, are well behaved and any evidence of their presence is kept to a minimum whilst in the van and none once our camper is handed back. Any damage (e.g. chewing, fouling, smells,) will result in a charge from the security deposit.
