Astrid – 3 berth in North Devon/double bed/shower and toilet.

Astrid is our 2016 Ford Transit with a Bluetec Diesel engine. We know she works as a great place to be for a holiday, because we travelled around Europe for three months in her in 2022. She kept us cool in Italy and warm in Scotland. She is easy to drive and has a reversing camera fitted. There is a full sized double bed with a comfy memory foam mattress as well as lots of charging points. Astrid is our 4th van and our best. She was named after my French mum.

We are right on the edge of Exmoor, close to excellent beaches and campsites with sea views.

It has a front cab for three people and a rear area where the double bed lifts on gas struts up to the roof to give you a seating area beneath for eating and lounging, we have had 4 people spend an evening in her for dinner and then playing board games on the table that can be used lengthways or across and is stowed away in the side cupboard. There is a third bed suitable for a child under the double bed.

She has a shower with hot water powered by a Truma hot water heater when on electric hookup and a toilet. There is a large fresh water tank and waste tank for the shower and separate ones for the sink.
The sink and cooking area have plenty of storage, the fridge works on electric when on hook up and by the solar panel and engine when travelling.

There is a Nespresso pod coffee machine with pods provided, and an electric cooking pot for cooking indoors. These can both be powered by our solar panel, when not on hookup. The Cadac double burner gas stove is ideal for cooking outside. Four outdoor seats and two outdoor tables are provided.

Astrid has two big storage boxes for clothes and lots of additional storage above the cab and at the back. She is fitted with a really good roof fan to help with warm nights, steamy showers and cooking. The windows have blackout curtains and fly screens. We have used this van in Italy in the summer (38 degrees) and the UK in January (-2 degrees) and have fitted it out to work all year round.

Astrid has had a Habcheck Habitation Check done in Nov 2022, which is available to see and a copy is with the info supplied to clients. Off road parking is available for your vehicle.
