Brand new van for 2023 season. Our campervan is latest model VW California Ocean T6.1 DSG Automatic (150hp engine). This is Volkswagen's latest factory-built campervan rather than a 3rd party conversion of a standard Transporter van. There is lots of debate over which is better but I think it is generally agreed that the finish and equipment level of VW’s California Ocean Campervan is fantastic and can accommodate a family of 4 in complete comfort (or 4 adults).
It has a heater that can run 24/7 without the engine on and enough battery power to keep you in comfort 'off-grid' for circa 4 days without running the engine to recharge or plugging into an electric hook up. It has running cold water with a sink, twin gas hob, and a good-sized fridge. It includes seating and a table for four inside and also a separate table and seating for four outside. There is a wind out awning attached to the side of the campervan. We also include in the rental, free of charge, an outside kitchen unit and a gas powered multi purpose cooking system for cooking In the great outdoors.
It has a factory-installed sat nav system as well as Apple Carplay and Android Auto integration and a full digital dash. The van is an automatic and has parking sensors so is very easy to drive. It also has a similar sized footprint to a large car so driving and parking in and around towns is very straightforward.
Delivery and pick up is available at an additional cost.
