Spacious off-grid Volkswagen

Our Volkswagen Crafter, converted in 2021, is available for rental again! Whether you want an off-grid vanlife trip for two or an adventurous family holiday with your children: this bus makes it possible.

The Crafter offers the comfort of driving a powerful bus with the feeling of space of a camper. We consciously chose this (extended) bus and layout, because we traveled in it with our children for a few months: the bus had to offer driving and living comfort from snow-capped mountains to standing alone on lakes in the warm sun. And it worked! On the inside it looks like a small and attractive house.

The bus camper has 4 seats, a seating area and a kitchen. There is an outdoor shower (with cold water) and a porta-potti as a toilet. There is a double bed (200x160cm) with two children's beds above it (suitable for small children, up to approx. 5 years) that can be converted into storage when not needed. The newly installed parking heater heats the living space when necessary, and two roof hatches provide air and light. Thanks to a large solar panel, external electricity is not required (but a connection for shore power is available).

The bus is quite basic with a quiet and attractive interior and a lot of storage space: including a garage with coat rack and shelves in the back, and a space of more than two meters deep under the bed.

In short: the convenience of a strong, modern and easy to drive off-grid bus, but with some “camper luxury” such as space, a large bed and a fixed seating area with removable table. Good trip!
