Hi!

I am Maartje. Briefly about myself: 24 years old, master student (public administration and data science) and I have a very nice camper!

In 2017 I moved to Vancouver for 5 months. Here I discovered my love for adventure, city, nature and vanlife. When I came back my goal was to build my own van into a camper! In 2021 this became reality. After much searching I found my perfect van. I worked on my van almost every day that summer with a little help here and there from family and friends. After the summer I went back to studying. So I was (unfortunately) only able to get away for a weekend here and there. I did have a nice trip through the north of France.

My big dream to go to Norway became reality in the summer of 2022! 3 weeks with my family dog Roef and camper Ollie to the south of Norway. What an adventure that was, not normal! Standing in the most beautiful places, a delicious cup of tea in the morning and then a good walk or enjoying a (very) small town. I had no problem with my van (and the steep mountains) or finding a parking space. This is why I bought it.

My next dream place is Slovenia. What's yours? I hope Ollie can take you there and then of course enjoy it to the fullest.

Some more practical information.
- The van is relatively quiet and nice to drive (also through the windows on the side and back).
- For both, driver and passenger, there is airbag. I really liked having this. Safety above all.
- The electricity system is very easy. It has no solar panels, but the system charges efficiently when you are driving. They are large lithium batteries, so sufficient to stand still for 4 to 5 days. Of course you can also charge it at a campsite if you want to stay longer in one place.
- The kitchenette has everything you need: 2-burner gas stove, enough pans, crockery and cutlery.
- Everything you need to complete your motorhome trip is in the garage. Camping chair and stools, table, solar shower and clothesline. And still enough space for your own stuff.
