In recent years we have made several adventure trips and camping has always given us a sense of freedom. We wanted to share this feeling with others and that is why we decided last year to purchase a camper ourselves after first renting a camper for a trip to France. Our choice fell on an original Volkswagen camper from 2013 with few kilometers and a striking blue color, which we affectionately call the 'Blue Blitz'.
We have equipped the camper with all the necessary amenities, so that you can enjoy the trip to the fullest. Whether you plan to head into the mountains or relax on the beach, our camper van offers the freedom and flexibility to go where you want, when you want. And of course we hope that you will have as many adventurous experiences as we did in our 'Blaue Blitz'.
Because we are regularly with the camper ourselves, the camper is fully equipped for a camping trip.
The wonderful thing about the 'blaue blitz', on the way you feel like you're driving a luxury car. Because you sit higher and the comfortable seats with lumbar support, air conditioning, cruise control and power steering, you are assured of a comfortable ride.
When you then arrive in a city, finding a parking space is no problem at all due to the small dimensions. This also often leaves a spot available at a campsite.
Once you have arrived at the campsite or parking lot, you can raise the pop-up roof with the push of a button and simply extend the awning. Because the camper has a solar panel and inverter, you basically do not need electricity for, for example, boiling water or charging your phone. In short, ideal for possible wild camping.
The camper has two different beds, one of which is in the lifting roof. This bed is 140 x 200 meters with a slatted base, with an extra extension the bed can be extended by half a meter extra. This allows you to sleep wonderfully, even though you are 2 meters tall. During the day you can raise the lifting roof, so that you can even stand upright in the camper. A new lifting roof with three windows was recently installed.
The bed on the back seat of the camper can easily be folded down to create a second bed. For extra comfort, you can place the top mattress on the back seat. You can easily close the windows with blackout blinds and you have various integrated LED lights.
The camper is also equipped with a gas stove with two burners, a spacious refrigerator and a parking heater for the colder moments. The front seats are rotatable and the supplied table creates a cozy 'four-seater' spot. The original Volkswagen bicycle rack makes it easy to take bicycles with you. In addition, the camper offers a lot of storage space.
The camper comes complete with pans, crockery, camping chairs, table and all other necessities you need for a successful holiday.
