In May 2018 we left for an indefinite period abroad in our converted camper van. We have made a very nice journey through Europe and over the years we have made many adjustments to use the space as efficiently and practically as possible. We have always camped freely and the bus is therefore equipped with a solar panel and battery. We have recently moved back into a house (partly due to covid) and we would like to let others experience this feeling of freedom!

The bus is from 2005, has a manual transmission and has a diesel engine (90 hp). It drives like a charm and the cruise control makes it easy to drive long distances. The bus is 5.5 meters long and therefore fits in a normal parking space. The width is 2 meters (with mirrors folded), so you can also get where you need to be on smaller roads. The camper has already had quite a few kilometers on it, but it is motor and technical in excellent condition!

The bus has a comfortable 190x140 bed with a thick, firm mattress. The headroom is 1.90 and we have a lot of storage space next to the bed in the lid bin, in the living area with many drawers and above the front seats there is also a large space to store things, food or kitchen utensils, so everything is within reach! In the garage under the bed there is a large deep cupboard with bins where you can store more stuff. In addition, you can store your folding bike / mountain bike or your surfboard (maximum 6'0 / 1.83m) on the left side of the cupboard! So you can take a lot of hobbies with you on holiday!

The front seats can be rotated and with the table in between you create a spacious living area. The advantage for us is that we can easily park the bus and can cook and sleep without having to convert too much. The next day you drive away again. If you have a bad weather day, you can turn the front seats around to make it easier for you to sit inside. We rent the bus as we used it ourselves, so with kitchen utensils, table and chairs. The only thing you have to add yourself is a duvet and linen!

There is a 12V system, which means that the refrigerator and USB sockets / lights next to the bed run on 12V. The solar panel supplies enough to supply the refrigerator and the telephones! There is also an outdoor shower that works on 12v. We do not have a 230v system as we only camped freely. There is a camping plug and reel available, so you can use the electricity at the campsite, you can simply put this reel in the bus through the front door.

Hele gezellige, fijne camper!
May 2021
