We (family of 5) recently became the owner of this attractive camper. It is a well maintained Ford Chausson from 2008 with few kilometers (88,000) and a powerful 2.2 liter diesel engine with 140 hp. With this camper you do not have to stick to the right lane, but you can enjoy driving along with the rest. Mountains are no problem either!
From the outside, the camper can still be called compact with a length of 6.6 meters (with the carrier folded). However, this camper is very spacious on the inside due to its layout; a bunk bed at the back with a spacious garage underneath, a kitchen on the left, opposite the bathroom, and behind the cabin is a train seat with 4 seats and 4 belts. There is another bench in the direction of travel opposite the train seat; the table can be extended so eating inside with 6 is no problem either. It is not only spacious, but also very attractive and well finished. The interior has recently been addressed and is equipped with modern color wallpaper upholstery. The bathroom has also been modernised; the shower has been replaced by a large closet. An outdoor shower is still present and nice if you still want to go off the grid.
There are 6 sleeping places, 4 of which are suitable for adults: 2 in a bunk bed/2 in an alcove/1 in a train seat (dinette)/1 in a folding cot in the row cabin). The bed in the alcove is spacious and there is no shortage of space for the sleeper on the inside. The bunk beds are also big enough for adults. We do not use the dinette bed ourselves; that saves converting. Instead, we use a custom-made folding mattress that goes over the (co)driver's seats. This way all our 3 children can sleep in their own place behind curtains while the grown-ups have a drink.
As you can see in the option list, this camper is equipped with many options. The bicycle rack can carry 4 bicycles with a maximum weight of 60 kilos. Two electric bicycles are therefore no problem. The awning comes from 2020 and can be closed for a large part, so you are always out of the wind. The complete inventory (kitchen-inside-outside) including Nespresso machine is present.
