Thank you for looking at our fantastic camper van for two people! I built this VW T5 camper with 5 gears myself. When building, I looked around at all possible setups, discussed my wife's wishes and furnished the optimal camper with my background as a furniture maker.
The camper area:
When you have had a nice tour and have arrived at your destination, you can fold the backrest of the co-driver's seat completely flat forward. This creates a handy place where you can, for example, put your luggage and possibly a cool box.
In the bad weather mode you can sit inside and with the sofa arrangement with backrests you can sit at the table with 4 people. If you are ready to face the night, you can convert the bench into a spacious bed with just a few steps.
In the summer mode you can put a separate outdoor table and 2 comfortable camping chairs outside and enjoy nature, inside you can leave the bed in the bed arrangement for the most part.
If you park the camper in a nice place, you can choose whether to set up the awning or the awning. The awning is easy to connect to the side of the camper van. If you have bad weather, you can set up the awning and even create an extra sleeping place. You can connect the awning to the side of the camper in the same place, but this takes a little more time.
The windows have custom blackout blinds and there are curtains to separate the sleeping area from the cabin. This allows you to quickly prepare the camper for an overnight stay, super handy if you are passing through and want to get into bed quickly. If a lot of sun enters the van or it is very cold, there are mats for extra insulation. You can place these manually in front of the windows.
The practical kitchenette is equipped with all the basics you need: a sink with a tap and a single gas burner. The kitchen block has a 40L fresh water supply and the gray water tank is located at the bottom of the bus. There is also a separate gas cooker if you want to cook outside. In the kitchen block are the pans, plates, mugs, cutting board, coffee facilities, trays incl. spices, etc. and at the very bottom cutlery drawer with extensive cutlery set.
The extra 90Ah household battery is charged while driving or when you are connected to the mains. There are 2 times 220V + 2 times 12V sockets for charging all your electronics. With a compressor refrigerator (€ 3 per day extra) you can stand for about 2 days without a mains connection. Without a refrigerator you can of course stay somewhere for much longer if you want to camp wild.
The cabin:
The wide co-driver's seat offers space for 1.5 extra people (ie an adult and a child or a slim person). Under this bench is a storage place for, among other things, the electricity connection cable and some extra space for stuff.
The radio comes with an aux cable so you can play your own podcasts and music. Electronics can be charged with a car charger next to the cup holders. There is also a 12V -> 220V converter to charge a laptop, for example.
Maybe you are just as enthusiastic as we are about our camper, so let us know.
Key points:
• Long & wide comfortable bed (205 x 150 cm)
• Compact bus, yet fully equipped
• Camping table + 2 comfortable chairs
• Drives economically (1 in 12 – so relatively low travel costs)
If you have any other questions, I'd love to hear from you!
