Hi bon vivants!

Nice that you take a look at my camper. This cozy bus completes my picture of being able to travel and do other fun things. Unfortunately I can't do this all year round, so that's why I rent it out to give someone else the same experience that I always have!

Let me tell you something about the camper.

With cruise control and an excellent sound system, equipped with Bluetooth, it is certainly not a punishment to...

The driver must be at least 23 years old and must have held a driving license for at least 3 years.

There will be a booklet in the camper with an explanation of certain things, such as how to set up the awning or how to refill the water tank. It's pretty simple stuff, but if you don't know it can take quite a while.

There is a Porta Poti present. If you want to bring this along, you can. If you don't need it, that's no problem either, for the space of the Porta Poti there will be a large gray box, where you can put things in again.

If bicycles are taken on the bicycle carrier, they must be removed when the back door has to be opened. The weight of the bicycles is bad for the hinges of the door.

All kitchen equipment and the scottel braai must be cleaned when used.

The gas should always be close to the gas bottle once you have finished cooking. This is purely for your own safety. There is a carbon monoxide detector present, but it is better to do it just to be sure. The gas heater must also be turned off when you are not present, or when you go to sleep.

When the gas heater is switched on, the door must be slightly ajar so that there is sufficient oxygen.

Furthermore, smoking is not prohibited in the camper, but preferably outside. If you do want to smoke in the camper. Then open the door completely and leave it open for a while after smoking. Otherwise, the smell will permeate the entire motorhome and that is not pleasant for other people.

Mark is very friendly, helpful and flexible. Camping with the van was really nice because everything worked as expected and as Mark explained it to me. The only downside is on the driving side because the car had a few issues : - it did not have working AC (apparently it broke just days before our trip) and in August the heat was too much at times - the second gear of the car, as Mark pointed out when I picked up the camper, is very difficult to switch into and made it annoying at times, especially if you travel in a country with mountains and hills, as we did, and second gear is quite important. - another small issue was with controlling the windows from the driver seat, the buttons are very finicky and took a long time to adjust. Still, 4 stars is well deserved because if you use the camper for camping and less for driving, then you will enjoy it a lot. Also, some of the issues can be fixed easily so you might not even get to experience them. August 2022
