1 Review
Camper, Chausson with 170 hp Ford Diesel, was very nice. Powerful engine perfectly fit for our trip to Norway. The automatic gearbox had a manual feature which is absolutely necessary when driving in the mountains going downhill.
The camper was not completely ready when we arrived. Reason was explained (delayed return from maintenance) but the friendly welcome made up for this. With a slight delay we started our vacation.
During our trip we had a few small issues. Some of them was not understanding the equipment. Other were small issues beyond our control. Communication with the owner was easy, the owner replied fast and so everything was solved to our satisfaction.
The interior of the camper was nice. A very big bed in the rear. A second bed which could be raised/lowered. A toilet/shower which did the job. A large fridge more than sufficient.
We had a lot of storage space in the rear of the camper.
What would be a nice extra on this camper?
- An inverter 12v to 230v.
Rental price for this camper is in the lower regions, but the price for the extra km's are in the top range. So if you are not planning to make a lot of km's this is the camper for you.
