Adventure on wheels! Self build offroad Mercedes Sprinter

Always wanted to do GO-BOONY? Search no further! This is my self-built Mercedes Sprinter from 2012, despite her age still a tough lady. I built this motorhome with the look of an expedition vehicle to stand out from the crowd, although it may look like a 4X4 it is not. The van is built around the idea of ​​being self-sufficient for as long as possible, with the only limiting factor being diesel and water. The van is equipped with a large 200A battery. If you use the battery capacity as efficiently as possible, you can meet almost any electricity requirement. The battery system is designed to run the refrigerator 24/7. If you use more than expected, there's a battery protection system to prevent the battery from running out.

KITCHEN:
- Sink with movable tap

- 200A AGM battery (due to the nature of AGM, you can use about 60% of the battery)
- 20A Charger between engine and battery (so you can charge while driving)

- 3 230v sockets
- Plug to connect to shore power (cable is included)

OTHER
- Hot water boiler (works together with the diesel heater)
- Diesel heating with thermostat (heats to a desired temperature and keeps it there)
- TV with HDMI input
- 4G MIFI router (no SIM card included)
- BF Goodrich All terrain tires (These are all season tires)
- Spare tire on wheel carrier on the rear door
- Reversing camera (Can be activated at any time)
- Euro 5 engine (Be careful with LEZ zones, there is a sticker for Germany)

Being able to shower after a day of walking is such an upgrade! I chose a water heater that is in line with the diesel heater for efficiency. This means that the hot air from the diesel heater heats up the water in the boiler. About 2 people can take a shower of about 15-20 minutes of heating.

Towing the bus is not allowed! No trailers! No caravans! I make an exception for bicycle carriers.
